How many people are Catholics and practice the religion?

I'm a devout Catholic who attends church every week. I also attend special mes as well. I pray to God every day and I stay connected to my religion. How many of you are Catholic? Every time I post a question on this site I always get people answering my questions who aren't Catholic. Most of the time those people just want to put me down! It's not fare! Does anyone agree with me?
