Why are my eyes always getting gummy at night?

Well, I don't know if I got pink eye, but some people say my eye isnt that red to have pink eye. But my left eye has been red, really glossy and it gets super gummy and I wake up in the morning and my eye is stuck together. And now my other eye is started to go like that. The exact same thing that happen to my left eye. Now I woke up this morning and both my eyes were gummied SHUT :( They both stuck together! Why is this happening?? Is it pink eye or...elergic reaction or..what?? Please help.
