Please help me with this quick biology question???

Continuing with the first poster, the locations of genes can then be used to know where to put replacements. Then, by using the right restriction enzymes (cut DNA) and vectors (replace DNA), one could theoretically replace the genes on the chromosome. This is already done in bacteria (like the E-Coli strand that is made to produce insulin).
